Larry Flynt’s Free Speech Fight Honored at Judge Kozinski’s Movie Night

At a screening of The People vs. Larry Flynt hosted by U.S. Circuit Judge Alex Kozinski, Larry Flynt was applauded for his accomplishments in the ongoing and ever-important fight for free speech.

Speaking of his legal battle against Jerry Falwell, who sued HUSTLER over a parody ad in the magazine, Mr. Flynt said that “[t]he mainstream media never did give me credit for that case” until the Supreme Court became involved. After that, “they all came in, because they realized what would be at stake if [he] lost.”

For The Wall Street Journal, Sara Randazzo describes a scene of praise and commendations at the movie night. You can read the full article here.
